Now more than three years gone from this earth, but you are immortal. You will live forever in the hearts of all who loved you. I’ve come to believe that life is simply all about the legacy one leaves behind. Yours is one of infinite love, strength and compassion beyond measure.
Thank you Ma 🥰

Seven years ago when I met David, I had the pleasure and privilege of meeting you, his Bubby. You were definitely a one-of-a-kind grandmother. I loved your sarcasm and rough demeanor. I found humor in it. What I admired and loved most about you, was falling in love with the man you raised, David. He is who he is today because of you. He is an amazingly wonderful hardworking, kind, intelligent, independent and loyal husband, father and friend. He is an amazing man all because of you. Thank you. He loved you more than he would ever admit. He misses you so much. We all miss you. Most importantly, I am glad you were able to meet your great grandchild, Ethan Joseph, your little bubaleh. Love you. Rest in peace.

Not “one in a million” ~ no, Lakey was a genuine “one of a kind”. Never complaining about her life, content and thankful for what she had. Strength beyond measure with a heart as big as they come. Truly a “soldier of life”.
Thank you Lakey for all that you taught me in the 40+ years you blessed my life ~ including a little bit of Yiddish (Meshuggeneh being one of my favs!). You are so loved and will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to cross paths with you.

I have countless memories of bubby. I think the one that sticks out the most is when I would go to her apartment when she was still living in Illinois I would go visit her and we would have our morning coffee date together. Sometimes we laughed together sometimes cried together but she was always there. She walked me down the aisle when I was married and she was 92 years old at the time. How wonderful is that? I am also greatful she had the opportunity to meet her great great grandson. Bubby was one of the strongest people I have known and had the biggest heart. She always gave all of herself and expected nothing back in return. She was definitely one in a million and I will miss her always. She taught me many life lessons and helped mold me into the person I am today. Although I am sad she is gone I know she is happy now because she is reunited with our Zayde.

My memory with my bubby was when we get on the phone we would talk for hours both of us. She would always no matter what kind of day she was having try to guide me in the right direction talking about what was right an what was wrong and encourage me to do the right thing. Sometimes we didnt see eye to eye but at the end of the day she will an always be my bubby. Rest easy in heaven you will be sorely missed. We love you.

Lakey was my friend, and also, everyone’s friend. She loved us all and we loved her. Lakey enjoyed going to the pool…………….all of her friends were there.
Even though, we will miss her terribly, she has probably made new friends already. I am thankful Lakey is free of pain and ready to “dance” with Sol again.
Love you Lakey…………..Joyous

It has been a pleasure to know Lakey, my BFF Shari’s Mom. She was very special to us. Loved having her and Shari to special dinners with us; including Christmas dinner (my sister Donna is Catholic so we celebrate both Chanukkah and Christmas), birthdays and any other times together. She always kept us all in a laughing mood with her stories. When Irma (hurricane) came to visit they both came to our house with open arms. We were lucky to have a generator so we were able to enjoy each others company and eating some good food. It was fun watching her push her walker all around our house. Miss you so much Lakey. RIP, God bless her soul.

My memory with her is always spending time with her. We would go swimming and eat dinner together and watch Golden Girls, Law and Order, Family Feud, and Wheel of Fortune. She was always there for me when I needed someone the most. She would also talk to me no matter the situation. Thank you for raising me into the man I am today. I love you and I miss you !!!
